Thanksgiving and November stuff

Mya has an obsession with chairs she loves to pat the seat with her little hand then back her booty up to it and sit down. This has been her new favorite chair lately, its my dad's rocking chair. We have to help her on but she can get off by herself. she's growing up way too fast!

I couldn't wait until after Thanksgiving to put up the decor so we did it a couple days before. We usually do NOT do fake trees but I got a gift card to walmart last year and we used it for a fake tree cuz we were so so so busy we didn't have time to go cut one down and we LOVE it!! I'm pretty sure when we have a house and our kids are older we will do real trees and it will be fun but for our apartment and Mya could care less we are going fake!

Thanksgiving was at the Hansen's this year and it was pretty fun! I love Dean's brother Dillon and his wife Annie and their kids! I could sit with Annie all day and just talk with her!

I hope Mya is musical one day-she sure loves the piano and is so cute and gentle with it

This was a couple days after Thanksgiving we wanted to see Annie and Dillon before they left and Mya wasn't feeling the greatest that day but she sure loved the bike thing

If you can believe it Mya had a temp of 103.7 the morning this pic was taken. Dean told her to say cheese and this is what we got! hahahaha I just died when I saw it! she is so stinkin fun!

I finally got her hair in pig tails but she wouldn't let me get a good pic she just wanted to be held and suck on her thumb:) Ok I love to cuddle!

Halloween (a little late post)

For some reason I spaced it and forgot to post about Halloween! Dean and I didn't dress up this year which I was fine with cuz I hate spending the money on costumes cuz I have no place to store it and we have other needs with our money right now but of course Mya dressed up as her 12th great gma Pocahontas! First we had a Hansen Party-we had the usual fun games like eating donuts on a string (mya was a natural) Adilyn helped her a little bit too.

I aboslutely love this picture of grandma and Mya! Mya wanted a turn so gma just held an apple up to her mouth and this was her expression! I love her scared look and gma's witchy face:) its like the witch forcing snow white to eat her poisonous apple! hahaha

Mya just had to do everything that the other kids were doing! it was so funny! She wanted to get blind folded to pin the tail on the black cat. after the kids did it she went up to gma and stuck her face up and just squinted her eyes real tight. silly girl!

Mya was pretty tired at the smith party so this is her one picture from that. We just ate and talked it was fun to just chill. 

Uncle Brent stopped by! He of course gave us some candy and I asked him if Aunt Linda helped him paint his face he said no that he did it! I was impressed-it looked better in real life! I just love him!

Visiting Mindy and stuff

Mya is always making us laugh!! She crosses her fingers on her left hand all the time and it just looks so cute and funny when she does it and lately she puckers up her lips and squints her big blue eyes. I wish I could get a picture of it but she won't do it when I pull out the camera.

In this picture she gets out all the bowls and pots and pans while i'm fixing dinner and she stands and sits on everything and when she gets her dolls blanket she wipes down the walls and chairs:) what a character!

I found a cheap dresser for Myas room and I forgot to take a before pic but this is the after. I like the blue and pink colors.

I went with my mom and dad and dustin and Jaxon to visit scott and mindy in sanaquin. It was way fun! I didn't feel very good but it was fun to see the kids and visit. My mom, Mindy and I could talk and laugh all night! On our way there we got off the freeway to eat and decided to turn around in a parking lot and it was dark and a lot of snow so my dad didn't see an island curb thing and I did so I said "dad, dad dad!" and thank goodness we were in the big truck cuz it jolted us and he went right over it and Dustin just said, " shi*, shi*, shi*!!" over and over. It was funny afterward cuz we looked back and a truck that was behind us followed us right over it! hahaha it was funny!

And I'm gonna record this cuz it was funny and my family is very open and loves to laugh so don't judge us:) but on our way there we were almost to mindy's house and I passed a little gas but didn't say anything, and a few min later my dad says, "whoa what stinks? ugh!" my mom was sitting next to him and said, "oh its my breath I can taste it sorry. oh my breath ya I can taste it" hahaha i was just giggling so hard and Jaxon was next to Mya and looked at me and I whispered "i farted" he started laughing then my parents figured out what we were laughing about! hahaha it was pretty funny!

Bodie was following Mya everywhere and copying her. it was so cute!

our new neighbors:) one reason why I love the country! I hope we can live somewhere where I can go jogging without seeing people but maybe seeing a deer or ducks etc would be nice.

4 year anniversary

Wow! 4 years! These past 4 years have been the best of my life! I couldn't ask for a better husband. We celebrated this year by going out to eat at sizzlers and it was sooo good! It is such a treat for us to go out to eat, no dishes, someone else cooking the food and time with just each other. But i do hope we get to visit our friends in california in january (so that is our anniversary trip). anyway...here are 4 reasons why I love Dean: 

1. he makes me laugh!  2. He loves Mya and I  3. He works hard  4. He loves the gospel

I feel so lucky to have my best friend as my partner for eternity! I really couldn't live without him! I am grateful for the covenants we have made and I will love this man forever!!!!
