Mya's words and dreams

Mya loves to talk and she is actually quite good at it. Lately all of her words that end it a P sound like Up and Help- she adds a T sound to the end so it UP-T and Help-T I guess correctly it would be UPED AND HELPED. I am going to try and record her saying it one of these days:)

So the other day in the middle of the night I could hear Mya mumbling through the baby monitor (yes i still use a monitor, it comforts me) she mumbled then she said really fast, "mom, dad, yeah!!!" and during the yeah part she clapped her hands, then it was silent. I guess she is gonna be like her dad and talk in her sleep:) I wonder what she was dreaming about!

Just thought I would add some pics-scouting out property and places to duck hunt up in Mink Creek

I love them so much!!!!!!

I even love her when she cries-she is just too cute!

Hansen 2012 Christmas Party

We had the Hansen Christmas party the first week of January so that everyone could be together. It was fun! Dillon, Annie, Stu, Celia, Dean and I all went to the rec center and played raquetball and wally ball then we ate, chatted, played, ate, then we had everyone together for dinner and gift exchanges for the kids.
I think my favorite part was sledding behind the Nauvoo (one of the horses) It was Mya's first time sledding and she was nervous at first but she likes horses and I kept saying, "weeeee!!" and she would nervously copy me, then we ran over some frozen horse turds and Mya yelled, "uh oh!! uh oh!!" it was across the pasture from where Dean was and Dean said he could hear her yelling that! It was so funny!

Wyatt knows how to play chess!! I don't, he is so smart!

I have a feeling Mya will like to play a musical instrument. She is in love with the piano. Maybe aunt Annie can teach her

Mya and Gracie

Dancing with Adi

About to open her present-it was a singing purse that sounded just like Adi (who gave it to her)- the voice was high pitched animated

some more dancing

Papa Sid and Grant-they are so fun!

I was so excited for Owen to open his gift from Mya-some cowboy chaps. He loves to be a cowboy

say cheese Mya!!

Mom's Group Photoshoot

We have a mom's group every week with the mom's in our ward and I decided I wanted some pics of the girls so I could remember Mya's little buddies in her first ward:)

In order: Laelia, Mya, Adilyn, Evelyn--I said, "say cheese" and that's what Mya did haha

16 weeks

Well i'm 16 weeks and finally not so nauseated! I am so excited to be over that part, I can deal with a lot of pain but I have a hard time with being sick to my stomach. I went to work on tuesday and our receptionist is an ultrasound student and she is going to practice on me on saturday-it is still a little early but we could find out what it is even though it might not be a sure thing since between 12-17 weeks the girl parts are swollen and boys are small. Dean doesn't want me to cuz he can't make it so I don't think I will but I am still gonna go and hear the heartbeat she just won't tell me the gender.
But my legit ultrasound will be on the 6th of February- 19 weeks- and I'm so excited to find out!! I think I'm as much or more anxious to find out as I was with Mya.

Mya's a big girl

Mya has moved to a front facing car seat! We did it a couple months ago and she just loves its! she waves and says hello to people on the sidewalk, she points at things and talks and babbles:) it is so fun to see her grown but yet sad that it is going by so fast.

I love this sweet little girl

Grandma Smith is 90

My grandma Smith who lives right next door to my parents turned 90 on December 30th.

she is an amazing, spunky, lovely, a historian, a petite fireball of a grandma and I love her so much! I have so many memories of going to her house and playing on her swing set, eating vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup, playing dress up with all her jewelry, looking at all my ancestors pictures and hearing her stories, smelling her vanilla musk perfume, and swinging on her big porch swing-I think that's why I want one when we get a house.
Even at 90 she acts a lot better than most 60 year olds that I xray at work. My grandma is one of a kind and I hope I'm like her when I'm older.

Just some of the grandkids (the ones that live close)

some of the great grand kids

Baby Hansen due July 2nd!!!

Mya is going to be a big sister! We found out the end of october and Dean was at class when I took the home test so I made a little note for him when he got back and it said, "Hey dad, I can't wait to meet you! love, baby #2" He saw it on the table and just laughed and said, " I knew it". We are so excited!!! We had quite a few little scares though the first month. I bled on 3 different occasions and 2 of the occasions were really scary and both times the nurses said I miscarried but then the ultrasound would show a tiny little peanut with a good heartbeat. We were so so so blessed that all was ok. I am currently 15 weeks and so far I have been pretty sick, I haven't thrown up yet, but I feel like I'm about to all day long. With Mya it wasn't that bad and it ended at around 12 weeks and with this one I am barely feeling a little better but I still get waves of it. I eat a lot and I have had some pretty bad frontal lobe headaches. But I am so thankful for this precious little one that all is well so every pain is worth it:)

I feel like it's a boy but I thought Mya was a boy too so I don't really trust my instincts. My brother Dustin, who is never wrong, says its a girl and Dean said that he would like another girl but he thinks its a boy too. So I have no clue and honestly I really don't care because of what I have gone through so I just want it healthy and full term.

Mya points to my belly now and says baby (she also points to hers and says baby) haha!

This week Dean bought me some beautiful flowers just because. He doesn't do that very often so I was so surprised and it just brightened up the kitchen and my spirits!
