my sleepy boys

As I was getting ready for church on sunday, Dean got the kids ready and laid down next to baylor man and this is what i saw when I came out of our closet….

my handsome sleepy boys

Shalese's bday weekend-we laughed until we cried---Feb. 8-9

Friday feb. 7th we randomly decided to make a quick trip to Richmond  (again) for Shalese's bday get together and Dean really wanted to play in the snow that cache valley was getting and we were getting rain. So we got there friday night, I was so tired I could barely stand it but Dean, Shalese and her friend Sid got the 4 wheeler out and tied a sled behind it and went around the block on the snow covered roads. This is one of Dean's favorite past times and I like it to but I was way too tired. They were out there until midnight just swinging each other on the sled back and forth.

Saturday morning we had a hot Grandma breakfast (Geraldine is an amazing cook) and Dean went snowboarding with Shalese and Sid at a ski place that is being built in Richmond that Sid is actually helping to build (that's why they got access to go) Dean had soooo much fun! He came back just grinning from ear to ear! While they were gone Mya and I built an olaf (a snowman off of the movie frozen) we built a big one and a little one while Baylor man was asleep and Grandma and Papa Sid were doing a rabies clinic thing. Mya was hilarious! I threw a snowball at her and she would fall over and be dramatic then she would hit me with one and I would do the same and she just laughed! I started to get bigger snowballs and threw at her- she loved it!
When Dean got back we made a trip to Logan to look at a duplex and I got some adorable fabric for Mya's Easter dress and Baylor's tie :) then we got back to Richmond and ate and after dinner we started to play some games! Holy Cow! that was so much fun!! We laughed to hard-Papa Sid cried 2 different times, Grandma almost didn't make it to the bathroom she was about to pee her pants and my abs hurt so bad from laughing!

(Papa Sid, Geraldine (grandma), Dean, Me, Sid, Shalese, and Boone) Some funny moments playing games: Dean telling papa sid how to count in samoan, "it smells like a rocket" story-Papa Sid lighting a match in the bathroom and Shalese's friend Sid smelling it, Dean banging his fist really hard on the table when we bang it three times for the game trail ride and Boone not liking it, the hansen kids remincing about their mom saying "dough head" she said she always thought "doe head", eating ice cream called bear tracks and beaver tracks and then shalese and grandma talking about Baylor's poopy diapers and Papa Sid calling it Baylor tracks, Dean farting,

It was a weekend to remember!

Baylor's first tooth!---Jan. 2014 and first haircut--Feb. 9, 2014

At just about 7 months old our little manly man cut his first tooth! He had been drooling for quite a while so I thought it was going to come a long time ago but one day in the kitchen i felt your bottom gums and a little sharp tooth had broken through!

Look at those eyelashes!!

Feburary 9th Baylor had his first haircut. He wiggles way too much so when Dean got home he cut and I distracted and held onto him. we just trimmed by his ears and the nape of his neck. He needed it done badly. but i forgot to take a picture. Afterward it was funny to look at how straight his hair is in the back he looks even more like a little man!

Just a pic I thought was so cute! my 2 kidlets!

and I just love the way he is looking at me in this pic! He is such a mama's boy:)

Mya's first haircut--Jan. 2014

Mya's hair was getting thin looking and uneven on the bottom so I decided to try (by myself) to trim her hair. I was nervous cuz I have never done it before but she held still for a few seconds :) and I didn't need to trim the front because it was shorter than the back anyway. after her hair dried Dean examined it for me and he said it was pretty even so I'm happy. and her hair does look a little thicker.

A good time at the Provo mall...

One saturday Dean and I took the kids to the mall so I could get some pants for only 20 bucks-Dean hates shopping so i was kind of dreading going but it turned out to be fun!
Dean tried on 2 pairs of church pants at dillards, they looked really funny on him and I laughed, i said let's go to JCpennys and he said, "no i'm done for the day". We stopped by a store that had winter stuff and was going out of business (we are going on a snowmobile trip soon) Dean got an amazing deal on some long johns and this older guy asked me if a sweater he was holding up was a girl one or a guy one. I said, "well if you have to ask that question then it's probably too girly" him and his buddy laughed so hard! Dean tried on some long johns and liked them then we went to check out and the girl that was helping us said those are women's see they don't have an opening. hahaha! so dean tried some guy ones on the same size but he didnt like them as much and said out loud to me and the cashier girl how he really liked how the women's fit and that same old guy (who was actually the father of the cashier) said, "ya so do panty hose" haha we laughed pretty hard. On our drive home a car in front of us back fired and made a shotgun sound and Dean  flung back and closed his eyes acting like it shot him hahaha
I love my husband and how he makes me laugh!

will you be my valentine?

Mya's prayers

This past sunday was fast sunday and we really need moisture so we were fasting that day for more snow. Mya insists that she pray every morning and night so we let her and usually let her say what she wants but we told her that she needed to asks Heavenly Father for more snow. She started her prayer the same, "Heavenly Father, mommy, daddy, Bayer…" then she said, "please more snow so can build snowman," (she says her prayers in a very quiet voice, very unlike her daily loud voice)
it was so sweet and innocent. and guess what! it's been snowing this week! I love hearing her prayer and just think of all the perfect little children.
