Mya the thrill seeker..

The other morning I asked the kids if they wanted to go outside. I got their shoes on and we headed out the kitchen door that leads to the garage, I opened it and Mya ran ahead like always and I helped Baylor down the stairs. I was on the phone with my sister when I hear, "mom! mom!" I look over and Mya is hanging from the top of the garage! I told mindy, " gotta go!" and ran and grabbed her. my first thought was that she smashed her fingers and after i realized she didn't I just laughed so hard! it was the funniest sight! (I made her re-inact it for me) as the door was going up she likes to run under it but this time she put her hands on the end and let it carry her all the way up! hahaha the tiny little body didn't even phase the door:)

Horse rides

Mya said that she rode "snicker" not "snickers" because it's only one. haha little smarty! i love horses and papa sid is so good with the kids! My sweet country girl and my little buckaroo:)

Mya said...

After we got back from Alaska we went to Franklin to pick up the kids and stay one night there to recuperate from our vacation. My mom had taken them to the Franklin County Fair and I asked Mya what animal she liked the best she said, "a bunny rabbit." "what color was it Mya?" "mmm..black or something,"

we laughed! I had never heard her say the word something before:)

The sunday after we got home from Franklin, we were eating dinner and Mya was telling us all about nursery and she said that "missionaries tie ties like this (she shows us) and they have a tag on their shirt and they sing the missionary song" she then sang the song, I hope they call me on a mission. hahaha our nursery leaders are awesome! and Mya just surprises us at how well she retains info and understands it. smart girl!

"My Birfday's coming out!"-August 5th

Mya has been reminding us of august 5th since march and she has been so excited for her "birfday to come out". She had a kitty cat birthday party at a park by the fire station here in santaquin and we invited her neighbor friends: Holly, Taylor, Jac, Rhees, Mackenzie, Kyle, James, Gavin, and ViVi. We had a mouse hunt game, toss a water balloon with towels game, I made all the kids kitty cat ears and drew whiskers on their faces, we had chocolate spice cake with pink icing (she had to have a pink cake) and neopolatin ice cream.

It was simple and so fun! She got lots of fun things from her friends (mostly frozen stuff) and she was so nice to use her manners and said thank you after she opened a present.
