Visiting Mindy and stuff

Mya is always making us laugh!! She crosses her fingers on her left hand all the time and it just looks so cute and funny when she does it and lately she puckers up her lips and squints her big blue eyes. I wish I could get a picture of it but she won't do it when I pull out the camera.

In this picture she gets out all the bowls and pots and pans while i'm fixing dinner and she stands and sits on everything and when she gets her dolls blanket she wipes down the walls and chairs:) what a character!

I found a cheap dresser for Myas room and I forgot to take a before pic but this is the after. I like the blue and pink colors.

I went with my mom and dad and dustin and Jaxon to visit scott and mindy in sanaquin. It was way fun! I didn't feel very good but it was fun to see the kids and visit. My mom, Mindy and I could talk and laugh all night! On our way there we got off the freeway to eat and decided to turn around in a parking lot and it was dark and a lot of snow so my dad didn't see an island curb thing and I did so I said "dad, dad dad!" and thank goodness we were in the big truck cuz it jolted us and he went right over it and Dustin just said, " shi*, shi*, shi*!!" over and over. It was funny afterward cuz we looked back and a truck that was behind us followed us right over it! hahaha it was funny!

And I'm gonna record this cuz it was funny and my family is very open and loves to laugh so don't judge us:) but on our way there we were almost to mindy's house and I passed a little gas but didn't say anything, and a few min later my dad says, "whoa what stinks? ugh!" my mom was sitting next to him and said, "oh its my breath I can taste it sorry. oh my breath ya I can taste it" hahaha i was just giggling so hard and Jaxon was next to Mya and looked at me and I whispered "i farted" he started laughing then my parents figured out what we were laughing about! hahaha it was pretty funny!

Bodie was following Mya everywhere and copying her. it was so cute!

our new neighbors:) one reason why I love the country! I hope we can live somewhere where I can go jogging without seeing people but maybe seeing a deer or ducks etc would be nice.

4 year anniversary

Wow! 4 years! These past 4 years have been the best of my life! I couldn't ask for a better husband. We celebrated this year by going out to eat at sizzlers and it was sooo good! It is such a treat for us to go out to eat, no dishes, someone else cooking the food and time with just each other. But i do hope we get to visit our friends in california in january (so that is our anniversary trip). anyway...here are 4 reasons why I love Dean: 

1. he makes me laugh!  2. He loves Mya and I  3. He works hard  4. He loves the gospel

I feel so lucky to have my best friend as my partner for eternity! I really couldn't live without him! I am grateful for the covenants we have made and I will love this man forever!!!!

Pumpkin Walk, Snow

For mom's group we took the girls to the pumpkin walk. They are still too little to really enjoy it but it was a good walk and fun for the mommys. The best part is when we put their faces in the cutouts. I thought their expressions were hilarious

My princess Mya! she is so funny!

So our furnace was broke for a few days and our landlord doesn't answer his phone, thank goodness Dean is a handy man! These pics are of Dean trying to fix it but Mya kept climbing on him and then she finally grabbed a book and got on his lap. It was so cute! Dean is such a manly man but since becoming a dad to a little girl it is the sweetest thing to see how soft he has gotten with me and Mya. I love it and he is such a great dad for a little girl!

The first snowfall of the season!!! It was just  a couple days ago and it was sad but I'm glad for the moisture because I would like to swim in lakes and drink some water next summer:) We were on our way to the thrift store to pick up a dresser for Mya. We got it for 15 bucks!! I'll have to show a before and after pic once I'm done fixing it up but it really is a great dresser and has a lot of potential! I'm so excited to have more space in the closet and space for Mya's clothes.

It's crazy how fast she is growing up! I swear everyday she is copying something Dean and I do or say. The other day she got her doll's little blanket and started wiping down the walls, fridge, and our kitchen chairs! We started laughing and Mya looked at us and gave us a big cheesy smile and started laughing a forced laugh:) She makes us so happy!

Hair cut and stuff

So there is an elder here in Logan that is straight from the islands of Samoa! He is just learning english and so Dean and him love to talk and hang out. The other night I told Elder Pili to cut Dean's hair. He did it quite a bit shorter than Dean likes it and he told Dean (in Samoan) "oh your hair is really spaced out" Dean said back, Yeah our hair is not like yours :) but when it was all done I really liked it. It was different and dean looks good with anything!! 

We went to Monpelier to pick up Dillon and Annies kids to bring back to Richmond for Geraldine to watch while Annie gets her radioactive treatment done. Mya was so pooped on our way there. I just love her lips and cheeks so much!!

Mya loves to wear shoes!!! She put on Dean's nikes once and it was so cute seeing her walk around!! I love in this pic I have my caselot sale stuff in the back ground and Mya will not let go of her puff things.

The other day we had to wake Mya up a little early cuz Dean and I both had to work and needed to take her to Gmas.  Her long blonde hair was all over the place and she said in her tired raspy voice while she was rubbing her eyes she says, "hey-whoa" Everytime I go to get her out of her crib she says hello and I love it!!

The leaves fell last night and I wanted to get pics of Mya in the leaves so we went across the street to our neighbors and she has a dog so Mya wouldn't look at me at all and she of course had a death grip on her snack things again:)

 Gma Hansen makes pumpkins that have the grandkids names on them and I just wanted a pic of her with her Mya pumpkin but she was pretty tired

Her costume is done! besides a few touch ups but I wanted to try on her headband and leather fringe. she just can't let me take a pic of her she starts after the camera and wants to see so thats why her hands are in the air in the last pic because she wants the camera:)

Smith family pics

My friend Chelsea did our little family photos in august and she also did the Smiths family photos. There were 17 people there and so I think it went well to try and get everyone looking and smiling considering how many kids there were:)

My parents are so giving and smart and loving. I smile everytime I think of my dad and his humor and I talk to my mom everyday! I seriously love them so much it makes my heart hurt:)

I had to post this of Dustin. Because its not his usual cheshire cat smile. I think he is just so handsome!

We didn't even plan on wearing purple!! great minds think alike!

USU game and Mya

So I tried to post about the beginning of this month and it didn't save so I hope this one does.

I went to what's called divvy up- a gently used childrens clothing store that only comes 2x a year to Logan. I got this very pink coat Mya for 6 bucks! it was a steal cuz it even came with gloves:) 

Doesn't she look like the cutest pink eskimo? We were getting all bundled up for Dean's flag football game.

GO USUS! Dean's bro-in-law got us tickets to the BYU vs USU game in Provo and Dean even got us reservations for a hotel! It was our first night away from Mya and she did great! and so did I! haha It was a fun game even if the Aggies lost 3-6.

See the kid behind us? there were a group of like 10 yr old boys taunting us:) they even said, "go home faggies" haha that one was pretty good. I love what sports do to people!

Conference!!! I love it!!! we went to the Hansen's on sunday and watched the first session. There was so much I needed to hear and they addressed everything that was on my mind!

 Mya and I went to our favorite park by the Logan temple while we were wait for Dean to get home.

 Mya loves to get her rider thing and cruising down hill on our sidewalk! she is so cute when she lifts her legs up!

Mya never watches tv but i got some baby einstein from the library and she sat down with her goodys and was so quiet for about 20 min just watching it was so cute and I got a lot done in those 20 mins, but I'm not the kind of mom who does this everyday don't worry.

Mya's new doings

So Mya's new things (well she has been doing them for a while but I'm just getting to posting them) She takes her dirty diapers (rolled up) and puts them in the garbage. she has to use 2 hands and holds it out in front of her then drops it in the garbage then runs back to me clapping then holds her cute little hand out for a high five:) she is so funny!

( she has been doing this for a long time) When she is done eating or if I offer her something she doesn't want she puts both arms up in the air and says "all done" she says it just like it is suppose to be said - she sounds so grown up!!!

While Gma Hansen was watching Mya, she wouldn't eat what she was giving her so Gma put some in her mouth while Mya was swinging her head side to side then once she got a little taste she smiles and looks and Gma and say "mmmmm!" then she will eat it all!!
