Dean Graduated!!!!

I'm so proud of Dean! He has worked full time and has gone to school full time for about 4 years of his 4.5 years of college. He double majored in Agbusiness/business. He is the man!!!
Dean had 2 interviews with 2 different companies: one was with IFA (who he worked for during school but it was for a higher position) and the other was for an internal sales rep for Powder River (a company that manufactures and sales livestock handling equipment). We went to the temple about both jobs and we felt like both would be great and then when the time came for them to give Dean an answer IFA said "we don't have anything for you at this moment" and PR said "we want you" so I think Heavenly Father knows Dean and I well enough to know that we have a hard time making decisions, we like to just go with the flow and I think this was an answer to our prayers! They made the decision for us. We took the job at PR (which is located in Provo) we were scared and excited at the same time. They asked Dean if his first day could be May 6th so Dean graduated May 4th and we moved in with my sister and her family May 5th and he started May 6th!!! We feel pretty blessed, I don't think many people get a job 2 days after they graduate.

We packed all of our stuff in my dad's snowmobile trailer and some at Dean's parents then packed our truck with stuff to take to my sister's and that was all in 2 weeks. Everything has happened so fast but we are so excited to start a new chapter in our lives. I have never met anyone that works as hard as Dean and still keeps such a happy positive outlook. I love being here to support him in his new career!

I am finishing working some days in May so we will be making a trip to Logan every weekend in May and then come June I will live with my mom the last 2 weeks in case baby boy makes an early appearance, (yes I am going to have the baby in Logan because I love my doctor and I know the workers there, Mya can be at gma's house and I will most likely be induced so Dean can schedule his days off).

This has been life so far and we are so grateful that Mindy and Scott are letting us live with them while we house hunt and get settled in. I am so thankful for all our friends and especially our parents who have helped us get through school.

Photos of Mya- 20 months old

Grandma smith got Mya mint skinny jeans to match her mom:) she looks so much older than what she really is. She is only 3rd percentile but she talks and acts older.
our little thumb sucker!

Mya and I had a fun day at the park. I wanted to get some good action shots of her but all she does is stare at the other kids (like her dad-people watcher) so these are the best ones

then we stopped by the temple on our way home she loves the "wa wa"

Conference weekend

On sunday we decided to stay home and watch conference just the 3 of us and we had a nice relaxing day. We went for a bike ride in between sessions and made cookies. Sunday is my favorite day of the week.
Mya is going through a cheesy smile phase, everytime I pull the camera out she makes a straining smile:) This one is my favorite!! it looks like an awkward school photo...hahaha

I wonder where her personality comes from?? for sure her dad!

Easter 2013

One saturday my friend Kelsie and her daughter Evelyn invited us to the stake primary easter egg hunt. Mya caught on really fast on how to pick up eggs and put them in her basket after only getting a couple she was done though because she just wanted to open the 2 she had.

this was the first day that Mya was so stubborn and she had to wear what she wanted to wear. but i finally convinced her to wear some pants underneath cuz it was still cold outside. Oh I love having a girl!

We spent saturday with the smith's. Mindy's family came up from Santaquin and we colored eggs, Mya wanted to just dip the egg in a pull it out then smash it on the table:), we rode 4 wheelers around the yard, it took her a while to like it, we had an egg hunt, and we ate an awesome ham and potatoes dinner. I just love Easter! Because of the signs of spring, the resurrection, and the candy:)

 26.5 weeks along

Easter sunday with my 2 most favorite people in the whole universe!!!

Mya got a little princess baseball bat and ball and a dress up paper doll but it is wood not paper. But for some reason she would not let go of her doll that she has had for a while. I love her bed head!

I think Mya's color is definietly blue! i just love the dress my mom got for her!

My big helper

I don't know why but i love this picture. She loves water and if I have tons of dishes or I'm in a hurry I won't let her help me and it breaks her heart so I just do them when she is sleeping but I do love her help once in a while:)

Aquatic Center and Jump Zone

We went to jump zone with Dillon & Annie's family and Geraldine. Mya didn't know what to think at first. she cried if you didn't hold her hand then when we tossed her in the foam pit she didn't really have any emotion then after a bit and if there weren't kids jumping around her she started to go off by herself and she ended up loving it! silly girl

For my birthday Dean took his girls to the Aquatic Center in Sandy Ut. It wasn't as nice as what I thought it would be but it wasn't bad either. Mya had fun and it was fun to have a day with Dean (which doesn't happen very often)
