5K in Santaquin-28:26

So Michelle and I run together so one day she mentions there is a 5k going on and asked if i wanted to do it and of course I wanted to and I got my fastest time of 28:26. I have decided that I will only pay someone to run if my money is going towards the community or someone's medical bills and this race it went to a little boys medical bills he has leukemia so running is fun when there is a purpose.

Michelle and I in our XL tshirts:)

Dean likes this pic of me for some weird reason-I think I look goofy with my huge grin coming across the finish line. (Dean and Mya were playing at the park where the race started and ended)

Michelle and her kids (except the biggest one, he is a neighbor who helped with her kids)

Onion Days in Payson-Labor day weekend

The kids and I went to Onion Days with my new friend, whom I adore, Michelle Olson and her niece and a couple of her kids. Dean was hunting and Michelle's husband was hunting with their 2 oldest kids. So it was just us and it was fun. it was a really long parade and we left it early cuz it was too long for us:)

Baylor's crazy hair

Mya, James, and Michelle holding Baylor

Michelle and her niece, Liz

Dean with his doves and his mtn dew :) we didn't mean to have the pop in the picture. I have to brag a little about him cuz he won't admit it but he has a good eye and steady hands-he seriously is an amazing hunter and has great aim. I just love the joy he gets from being outside. And he doesn't just like to kill animals :) but he eats basically everything he shoots and he fixed himself some fried dove with rice. I didn't want to try it but he said it wasn't too bad

August randoms

Mya loves to love on Baylor and I'm pretty sure Baylor recognizes it's his sister by her high pitched squeals when she talks to him and a bunch of blonde hair in his face:) it makes me so happy to see them together and she is such a big help with him.

I love this pic of Mya and her cheesy grin

i could just eat that face!
everytime I get the camera out he will stop smiling or doing whatever i want to capture and he will just stare at the camera so I have to get my face from behind the camera and hold it off to the side and hope i capture him smiling.

Soldier Hollow International Sheepdog Competition-August 2013

Powder River supplies guards and gates for this sheepdog competition in Heber so Dean got free tickets and a parking pass so we decided to check it out-we have never seen this before except on the movie Babe, so we didn't know what to expect and was afraid it was going to be boring,
But it was so cool! we loved it! These dogs are so so smart! The pics I took are of a guy and dog from Ireland. The guy just whistles to tell the dog where to go and the dog just does it, the dog goes clear up a hill to get the 5 sheep down and he takes them throw different gates then he separates them 3 and 2 then puts them back together and puts them in a gate in 12 mins!!! absolutely amazing!

Thank goodness we brought our stroller cuz there was hardly any shade!

Mya milking a cow! it was pretty fun!
me holding a snake from the wild animal exhibit-Dean didn't dare hold it :)

randomly we ran into our former Bishop in Logan, Bishop Younker, and his wife and 2 kids! It was fun seeing them and catching up. it's crazy that of all the places we could run into each other it was there. What a small world!

Baylor's 2 months-August 16th

Better late than never.....

Baylor's 2 months:
a very happy baby (mornings are your favorite you wake up smiling so big and kicking)
smiles a lot!
likes to bath now
still spits up
falls asleep almost instantly in the jogging stroller when mom jogs
you were blessed in Richmond UT
hates messy diapers
can sit in your bumbo for quite a while

i love the face he is pulling here! hahaha

Hansen Family Fun Activities (FFA)

Dean and I are not type A personalities, we don't like to make decisions (we are good if they are big important ones) but we don't like to be in charge of things we would rather be told what to do or bring, etc...well it was our turn this year to plan the Hansen reunion. It was quite hard to do when we were moving and having a baby and all that but we did it and it was pretty fun!
We camped up Tony's Grove in Logan Canyon, we had never camped there before but it sounded good in april when we booked it. Well the camp was kind of on a hill but we made it work.

these are some pics of some games we played-wack a cracker (you have a saltine cracker tied to your belt lope and people try and brake it with rolled up newspapers or magazines but now we know not to use magazines cuz they hurt when you hit someone-we had 2 kids crying by the end)
the other game was shaving cream on top of a shower cap on your head while your partner threw cheetos in a certain amount of time. the person with the most on their head wins.
Mya just watching the kids and eating her fruit snacks
wack a cracker with Papa Sid
Dean and the parents helping put together the crackers and string
My Baylor being a good boy!
After the cheeto game there was a shaving cream fight!
The whole entire family-first time since 3 and a half years ago
 My beautiful country girl!
 Mya and Owen and Wyatt
 I love Baylor kisses!
I just love his face when he cries!
 Best buds!

Words can't describe how much I love Cache Valley and the mountains and pines! home sweet home

The last night we were there-the Reeves and Ridings left-and it started to rain. So Dillon and Annie's family and us and Sid and Geraldine all slept in their trailer and we all fit! It was so fun! In the middle of the night Mya woke up crying (she was sleeping in between Dean and I) and after we calmed her back to sleep Annie says, "Don't worry she didn't wake us up we were already awake" and everyone was laughing. Then Parker says, "it 2 o'clock" someone said, "we have only been asleep for 4 hours?" and then Sid says, "at least you have been sleeping" then we all start laughing again! hahaha
Papa Sid said the next morning that he heard Dean in the middle of the night talking in his sleep he said, "What the freak was that?!" hahaha oh Dean! so even though it was a sleepless night we still had lots of fun! and that's what being a Hansen is all about....having fun even when life is hard! I love being a Hansen!!!!

First broken bone-her right big toe

Just had to add a couple cute photos of baby boy!! isn't he handsome?

The other morning I was getting ready to take Baylor for his 2 month well check up and Mya decided to climb up in her high chair by herself which is connected to a kitchen chair and I was using the bathroom when I hear a bang and crying. I knew what happened from the sound. So I had her looked at while we were at the doctor's and he said if she was still limping in 2 days to bring her in and they would splint it. I knew it was broke-I take X-rays and I've seen this one too many times- and I also know that they can't do much as long as its a little fracture. So after a day or so she wasn't limping but it still hurt for a while for me to touch it. poor thing. she is getting more and more of a 2 year old:) oh the joys
I took these pics the day after because that day was just too hectic with a fussy baby from shots and a toddler with a broken toe
