Fire Safety in Santaquin

My best friend here is Santaquin, Michelle, her husband is the fire chief and she told me about this thing that the city put on for kids since it was fire safety week and once I found out about a helicopter being there I was in cuz Mya loves planes and airplanes and she can pick them out of the sky better than I can

 Just like her dad was- sensitive to loud noises :)

We got to see this dog search for things. He is a drug dog and he was so smart! I just love dogs! Kyle, Michelle's son is behind Mya in this pic.

Our living room is kinda small but that's ok with me since we spend most of our time in the kitchen and our kitchen is a lot bigger. anyway...the living room was the first room done in our house we just repainted and it really needed it.

Happy 27th bday Dean!

On Dean's birthday the kids and I surprised him at work with a card and a candy bar (he got his present a couple weeks earlier-some nice cameo chest waders for duck hunting) It's fun to take the kids to Powder River because the office ladies just go gaga over them:) I love it, there's just a sense of pride and joy I get when someone compliments my kids it's like I'm getting a compliment too:) I hope that doesn't sound too selfish of me.

Anyway...It was a low key day (just how Dean likes it) we had pizza for dinner and skookies then after the kids went to bed we watched Iron Man 3 and we noticed on the movie that there is a character named Mya Hansen, crazy huh?!

Inside the card Mya scribbled a picture of Dean with a gun, shooting a deer, grass, and a sun:) haha
