April's happenings….

April has gone by way too fast! I am enjoying very much the ages of my children. They are so active and fun, Mya is slightly sassy but also has a sweet side, Baylor is hilarious and animated  but he can also be stubborn. Dean has been working so very hard on the backyard, and I must toot my own horn, that I have too.
We have had some distressing news about a couple of neighbors that has put into perspective the blessings in our lives. Dean and I have spent a few nights after the kids are in bed on the front porch talking. We talk about everything from the yard and our 5 year plan to our marriage and the kids and the gospel. We are so blessed and I know I get caught up in what the "jones's" are up to and forget how much we really have. We are so so blessed! I love Dean and Mya and Baylor and would be lost without them.

*Mya loves lemons!! like mother like daughter
*Dean with his buddy Russell Ward (we went to his wedding in Logan) and dustin Hansen
*Baylor enjoying an apple while we shoot clay pigeons-jaxon came and he is way good
*Baylor and his toy horse he named, BahBoo (which means Nauvoo-Gpa's horse's name)
*Baylor the little man getting a hair cut
*Mya is my little helper when it comes to my flowers
*Baylor and Mya in their church clothes
*Baylor and Mya having a picnic on the play place
*I finally made a successful batch of white/wheat bread
*my handsome hubby mowing the lawn and Mya being silly

(I also got a video clip of Mya doing a cartwheel!! she doesn't land it every time but she has it down pretty good)

Gpa's surprise 60th birthday

My mom planned a fun surprise party for my dad the big 6-0! Mindy made a dvd of pics and I made a poster board called blast from the past 1955. It was fun to visit and reflect on daddy-o and all that he does for us. He truly is an amazing man. A little about him: he's a hard worker, he loves his old cars, loves to camp, chop wood, old western movies, is a talented mechanic, has amazing common sense, an avid snowmobiler and 4wheeler and dirt biker, loves his family, loves his dog, has handsome silver hair, and  is wonderful dad.

Mr. Fix it..

I think I know what to get him for his bday this year, some tools. He loves dad's tools and likes to "fix" anything that has a screw of some sort.
(Look at that concentration with his mouth open)

Easter 2015

We spent Easter and conference weekend in Richmond this year and it was a lot of fun. I went for a run  ( I love running especially in Franklin and Richmond it's just so therapeutic) we then went to the Richmond egg hunt at the church, we colored eggs with all the little cousins and had another hunt at Gma's and played some games, the kids found their baskets and we listened to conference. Mya and adi colored for 2 hours straight! they are 2 peas in a pod. Baylor took kirsten's dog, stetson for a walk.

I took the kids pictures in their sunday best. I took one last year in Richmond. I think I want to make it a tradition now and compare pics. overall it was a fun relaxing and lovely easter.

March randoms...

A few of these need captions: i love the pic of Dustin in his owl shirt holding maxee, we went to Bodie's bday swimming and I love the puddle jumper life vests, Mindy and I took the youngins' to krispie kreme, daddy was washing the car one day I was working and Baylor man had a lot of fun in the puddles, and this last picture: the kids love the garbage truck, especially Baylor, and as he was looking out the window i pulled up the blinds so he could see better and the blinds snatched his binky right out of his mouth!! haha it was hilarious!

the greatest blessings call me mom...
