Christmas 2012

These pics are way out of order so I will caption them because I'm too lazy to rearrange them:)

First of all Dean got me a new camera!!! and I love it so much! He spoiled me this year with a Canon T3 Rebel and clothes! He did great at suprising me this year. I on the other hand didn't do as good:) but I had good some good reasons.

So these first few are of Christmas day after Mya, Dean, and I opened our own presents we went to Richmond to skype Boone on his mission in Portugal then we opened some presents there. Geraldine got the best gift...a white lab puppy!!! she named her belle and she is a very well behaved puppy.

 I tell Dean all the time that our first purchase after we get a house will be a dog, I just love them so so much!

Whenever I tell her to smile or say cheese she throws her head back, squints her eyes, and bares her teeth. I need to find a different way so she looks more natural:) 

Feeding her new baby some apple pieces and as you can see it got lodged in the baby's mouth hahaha 

Now these are later that day and my parents, mindy and scott were there and wanted us to come over and play games. these are the socks Geraldine knit me! I love them!

My mom got out some of my old toys. these were my favorite I still wish they made them, they are these cute bears with accessories and they have berry names like berry beth. Mya loves chairs so of course she somehow fits her cute little bottom on the chair and has a little tea party with the bear and cousin Bodie.

Santa was a no this year. It was so funny cuz when she was about to be picked up from sitting on his lap she started clapping cuz everyone else was then she would wave at him really fast (telling him bye bye) she would repeat the clapping and waving while crying hahaha it was so funny! 

After being at Gmas we went to my parents house next door and I was changing Mya into her pjs and it was pretty hot at my parents house (they have a wood burning stone) and Bodie wanted to strip down too

This was Christmas morning before we went to Richmond. We woke mya up so we wouldn't be late to skype Boone and the first thing she did was go straight for the stroller she already knew what to do with it!

It was a very good Christmas this year! We are just so blessed with the gospel family friends good health and love. That's all we could ask for. I am sad to see this time of year pass once again but I do love when spring comes:)

Mya and Dean are famous:)

So one day the first week of December, Dean had taken off work to study for finals and we went and picked him up from campus and went to first dam to feed the geese and ducks and to have lunch almost right when we got by the dam this guy says, "hey I'm from the Herald Journal would it be alright if I took a few pictures of your daughter?" and of course we said yes. This happened on a tuesday and wednesday came no pic in the paper, thurs came same thing. so we gave up thinking they just didn't use the pictures. then on friday Dean went early to work for a staff meeting and right when he walked in everyone said, " hey there's are star" Dean was so confused then his coworker handed him the newspaper. He just laughed then he texted me to look. We just thought that was so fun!

 Mya kept refusing to grab some bread and she kept putting her hands up by her face because the geese were eye level with her and would get really close. hahaha Mya has made us famous in good ole Logan:)

Christmas dress and snow

Mya with curlers in her hair for the first time. I could've put them in a lot sooner but I just haven't. She was really good about me putting them in. I curled her hair a couple days earlier with a curling iron and I had her on the bathroom counter and she just wrapped her arms around me and cried the whole time but she held still:)

In this picture she was crying because dad walked away...daddy's girl!

Thank you grandma for Mya's dress! Dean's got her dressed for church and said, she looks like a queen! and she does! I just love having a baby girl to dress up! especially when gma spoils her:)

Mya's first time in her snowsuit and she loves the snow!!!! I still need to get her snow boots but I wanted to wait to see if she likes it or not. 

I decided I might as well shovel the sidewalks and she just followed me and stomped around.

the problem with her snowsuit is when she bends down to pick something up she tips right over and she face planted it right in the snow! she only cried for a few seconds then got mad at me that I was holding her so I set her down and she got back to playing! That's my girl!!!

Mya's accomplishments

Mya just seems to be growing up and developing faster than I can keep track. She has done so much but here are some of her new words lately...

she dances and spins

she runs from the living room to the kitchen when she is hyper

she loves loves to be chased and play hide n go seek but you have to scare her when she finds you

eats by herself (but sometimes she cries for help with the fork)

she laughs like her dad when he tickles her

loves every single dog she sees

she is front facing in her car seat and is so giddy and happy that she can see outside

i'm sure i missed a lot more but that's all i can think of right now

Brian Regan!!!!

So for one of my work Christmas parties they got us tickets to the comedian Brian Regan!!! It was so fun!! Dean loves him so I was so excited to tell him where we were going for my party. It was pouring rain and Dean dropped me off close to the doors and said he'd go park the car. so I ran in and waited for him by the doors. After a few min he comes in and I say, crap the tickets are in the car! So he goes back to the car then comes back and then I say, crap I left my wedding ring at his moms! so I call his mom and tell her where I left it (we were baking bread and dough gets caught between the diamonds so I always take it off) It was just one of those nights for me but we had so much fun! 

My favorite part was when he talked about a family cutting his family off in line at Disneyworld and he says excuse me we were behind that guy. I know because I've been staring at his birthmark for the past half hour. the other guys says, ok if its that big of deal to you. then brian says, yeah it is cuz I want to get on the teacups before You! I'm not sure why I loved it so much but I couldn't stop laughing! 

Afterward I felt so healthy cuz they say laughing burns calories and it releases hormones and makes you live longer:)

Thanksgiving and November stuff

Mya has an obsession with chairs she loves to pat the seat with her little hand then back her booty up to it and sit down. This has been her new favorite chair lately, its my dad's rocking chair. We have to help her on but she can get off by herself. she's growing up way too fast!

 Mya what are you doing?

I couldn't wait until after Thanksgiving to put up the decor so we did it a couple days before. We usually do NOT do fake trees but I got a gift card to walmart last year and we used it for a fake tree cuz we were so so so busy we didn't have time to go cut one down and we LOVE it!! I'm pretty sure when we have a house and our kids are older we will do real trees and it will be fun but for our apartment and Mya could care less we are going fake!

Thanksgiving was at the Hansen's this year and it was pretty fun! I love Dean's brother Dillon and his wife Annie and their kids! I could sit with Annie all day and just talk with her!

I hope Mya is musical one day-she sure loves the piano and is so cute and gentle with it

This was a couple days after Thanksgiving we wanted to see Annie and Dillon before they left and Mya wasn't feeling the greatest that day but she sure loved the bike thing

If you can believe it Mya had a temp of 103.7 the morning this pic was taken. Dean told her to say cheese and this is what we got! hahahaha I just died when I saw it! she is so stinkin fun!

I finally got her hair in pig tails but she wouldn't let me get a good pic she just wanted to be held and suck on her thumb:) Ok I love to cuddle!
