First broken bone-her right big toe

The other morning I was getting ready to take Baylor for his 2 month well check up and Mya decided to climb up in her high chair by herself which is connected to a kitchen chair and I was using the bathroom when I hear a bang and crying. I knew what happened from the sound. So I had her looked at while we were at the doctor's and he said if she was still limping in 2 days to bring her in and they would splint it. I knew it was broke-I take X-rays and I've seen this one too many times- and I also know that they can't do much as long as its a little fracture. So after a day or so she wasn't limping but it still hurt for a while for me to touch it. poor thing. she is getting more and more of a 2 year old:) oh the joys

The same weekend as the Preston derby my mom asked if the kids and I wanted to stay until tues then she would drive us back home to Santaquin so Dean went home sunday night so he could go back to work. and on monday afternoon my mom took us to Olive Garden for lunch, the waiter came over and saw Mya and said, "oh she's cute. I have an available 4 year old" she said, "I daddy's girl." hahaha we laughed so hard! we didn't even tell her to say anything! she is so cute! and her dad is so proud! :)

Preston derby

I wish I had some pictures of this night but I forgot my camera.

My dad, my brother Jaxon, Dean, Mya, and I all went to the derby while my mom watched Baylor. Mya LOVED it! She would clap and laugh. All weekend she said, "race cars fall down crash. so sun doe again!" (so fun go again). Even in the middle of the night (that weekend we were staying at my mom's house) she woke up because she had a fever and I gave her some tylenol then after we laid back down she whispered, "mom. so sun doe adain, race cars fall down" haha I love my little redneck girl!

Mya is 2

Mya is 2!!!!

My sweet, funny, lovable daughter is 2! I can't believe I have a child that old:) She is so fun! Dean and I can't imagine life without her she always keeps us laughing and she has daddy (and mommy) wrapped around her little finger. 

She can count to 10, say her ABCs, she can memorize any song after only hearing it once or twice, and she is learning her colors now. She is a great big sister and I never worry to leave her alone with Baylor-they are best buddies.

We celebrated at Baylors blessing up in Cache Valley so we did something small at our house on monday night. we went out shopping for her present then came back and had ice cream and sang to her. 

And i couldn't help but add some pics of my growing boy:) One thing he does that Mya really didn't do is that he will snuggle his face into my neck and fall asleep so fast. I love that feeling when he is in my arms like that and it melts my heart! I love having him in our family!!!

I seriously melt when he smiles at me! and he looks just like daddy in this last picture!

Baylor's Blessing-August 4th

My handsome little man was blessed in the Richmond 2nd ward where Dean's dad is bishop. It was such a lovely day and all our family could make it! we are so blessed to have such wonderful families. Dean did a wonderful job and Baylor was adorable. After the blessing was over Dean held Baylor up and he woke up when he lifted him up and his big blue eyes looked out and the congregation just went, "ohhh" it was so cute!

The great grandmas! Gma Ward will be 90 soon, Gma Hansen is in her 80s and Gma Smith turned 90 last year! and they are all a bunch of firecrackers:) I love them!

Life...

 Mya loves to make sure Baylor is "happy" thus all the blankets piled on him

 Mya absolutely loves baseball games!!! She is scared of the mascot which is an owl-she says "owl get me", "nice owl", "sit on lap"- the 2nd game we went to Dean caught a tshirt the players were throwing out with one hand while holding Baylor with the other- he is so talented:)
