carving pumpkins

Before we carved normal jack o lantern faces into our pumpkins I wanted a pic of the kids' names on the pumpkins that Geraldine does for all of the grandkids. She scratches their names when the pumpkin is young and it scabs over when it grows so their name is permanent! cool huh! I love it and was kind of sad to see it get cut into but that's ok cuz Mya's disgusted reaction to the insides of the pumpkin were worth it!

(ha ha Michelle's son Kyle photo bombing:) )

Baylor's first time eating rice cereal

Baylor is 4 months and had his first taste of rice cereal. Yum he loved it! I have a feeling he is going to weigh more and eat more than Mya did. He already loves his tongue so I knew he would love the sensation of a spoon on his tongue

Let me help dad!

Mya's happenings...

One night while Dean was tucking Mya in he was laying on the floor next to her bed and he hears her say, " Amy hungry? want to eat?" and he looks up and she has her cabbage patch doll up to her chest with her shirt up!!! hahaha she knows too much!

Last sunday was the primary program and when Mya started to hear them sing she jumped out of her seat in the pew and stepped out into the aisle to get a better look and she started singing the songs! she knows most of them and is usually on key and she is also loud:) everyone kept looking back at her and smiling and we got so many comments on how smart she is to know the songs. She just loves to sing and I hope she nourishes that talent because I see it as such a blessing to her and others around her.

she makes us happy!

Baylor loves his tongue :)

Baylor LOVES his tongue!!!
What a cutie!!

Franklin visit

Dean let the kids and I spend 2 nights at my mom's last monday thru wed. so I could finish some unfinished projects and make some squash baby food for Baylor. It was nice to have someone cook me dinner and let me finish some projects, my mom and I finished Mya's halloween costume, she is going to be Minnie Mouse and Baylor's, he will be a rodeo clown. I am excited for Halloween this year, one reason is that we have a house and I am hoping we have some trick or treaters, and second Mya understands it better this year and is excited to be minnie mouse and I love dressing up a boy so it'll be fun for me with Baylor :)

Look how old she looks!
Mya loves to jump! this is on matt and trish's tramp

Dustin rented the little mermaid when he found out that Mya was coming over and he wanted her to sit by him! hahaha :) I love how happy he looks and his arm is strangling Mya. He just loves his nieces and nephews but especially his nieces! (my poor mom I kept her up late that night talking and just hanging out) I love her so much!
My grandma Smith chillin on her porch and I wanted to get a shot of her pretty bush too!

Baylor's first time swinging

I love the autumn season!!! it was so beautiful out the other day so we were all playing outside and I realized that I hadn't put Baylor in the swing yet. So we gave it a try and Baylor just loved looking up at the sky and the trees and Mya LOVES pushing him and giving him underdogs :) and she is actually pretty good at it. He is such a content little guy! I am so blessed!

Dad giving the slide a try! WWWEEEEEE!

A country Farm

Michelle's family and our family went to a little farm in Santaquin that had kid activities and booths. It was fun and the weather was amazing!

Michelle's kids at the "petting zoo" it was a couple of sheep, a goat, and a chicken

Me and my little man!

We rode on a trailer pulled behind a tractor around a field-we probably could have done a lot more with my dad's tractor in Franklin but Mya enjoyed it and we had good company

Mya really liked the hay maze-she loved running around and I loved seeing her pig tails bobbing up and down hahaha
I think she is holding her fruit snacks in this pic! my silly little girl!
