Jan. 2015-Baylor 19 months

I was going to write about Baylor when he was 18 months but I forgot so here it is a month later:)

Likes:
storytime
cuddling
playing with any ball
animals
Gpa's milk truck
babies
doing puzzles (and he is very good at it)
the garbage truck
yellow school buses
being outside-has to have his zipper zipped all the way
his hat
food-has to have whole pieces like a whole cookie no halfsies
his Gpas
Uncle Jaxon

Dislikes:
there isn't much he doesn't like..
maybe when Mya picks on him
he watches a little of cartoons but not a lot

Mya is in sunbeams!!!

I can't believe my sweet girl is in primary! where has the time gone?! She loves it and her teacher says she is very reverent. We practiced a little bit about raising your hand and folding your arms and I'm glad she retained that information.
A Little about my 3 and a half year old:

She can write her name all by herself and if I tell her the letters in the right order she writes mom and dad and Baylor.
She likes to pick on Baylor but she is the first to love on him when he is sad
loves princesses
loves horses
likes story time
loves her family (she says she is dad, mom, and Baylor's girl-and that she is!)

December Randoms….

Christmas 2014

Christmas was wonderful this year. Christmas Eve there was no snow at all then when we awoke in the morning there was tons i think about 8 inches! it was a winter wonderland! That Day the kids got to open presents with just us 4 it was so nice and happy. Mya got a cinderella doll and dvd and a live pet bird. Baylor got a basketball hoop and farm animals. they both got a tent with balls. We then headed up north for the Hansen christmas party. I actually had to go into work the day before the party, the day after christmas, no one was scheduled to work so they were in need of someone fast. The next day was the party the kids went sledding, rode snickers, played games, ate a big lunch, had a musical talent show-mya sang the star spangled banner and i whipped out my violin and played a couple songs, the grandkids played Gmas old chime thing from when she taught school, opened some presents, and the adults played volleyball and basketball. The whole family was there  and of course it was a good time!!

The smith party was the next day, sunday. We ate and sang and played a couple games. my mom had us do some service this month and we had to talk about that experience. I loved this! I told about how we went and visited an older couple in our neighborhood a lot and how I helped take care of my friend's kids when she was going through her miscarriage. I don't want to toot our own horn cuz we should be doing a lot more but I was so glad for this assignment from my mom and hope that our kids will have service as a strong quality. we opened presents and talked.

all in all it was a wonderful holiday season. I'm so thankful for our families and for the birth of our Savior. I love Him and the life he has given me!

Saturday spent with friends-Nutcracker Ballet and Lunch (12-6-14)

My friend Chelsee Niebergall invited some of her friends and I to lunch at a french restaurant in SLC and then to the nutcracker ballet. It was a much needed break for me and it was so fun to meet some other gals. I love hanging with Chels and the ballet was amazing and so was the food

(Hailey, me, Chels, Allison-she is the daughter of Sister Reeves who is in the General RS pres. she is my claim to fame:) )
