"Life is to be enjoyed not just endured"

So my finals are over for spring semester and Dean will be done next week, so life (like always) has been busy and stressful. I start summer semester next week and I'm going to take my P.T. exam to be a limited xray tech, so hopefully I can get paid to take pics. At the hospital I'm starting to do the operating room exams and fluoro exams by myself! So I'm trying to cram in all the info. but it is coming along. I was helping with an ERCP exam (gallstone removal) and the doctor patted me on the back and told me that I did a good job. it was great to hear that, cuz it really motivates me to do work harder. I'm so blessed and grateful I got into this xray program it has taught me alot about myself and how hard I can push myself.
Dean has been doing awesome on his exams! He works more than part time and goes to school full time and is always positive. He is a great example to me! I'm so lucky!!
These are the times when I think of Pres. Hinckley saying, "Life is to be enjoyed not just endured"
Enought typing here are some pics to show what we've been up to....

Our last weekend with Shalese. We hung around the Hansen's house then went up and shot skeet! I love shooting skeet!!! I don't know why but it is so much fun! I can't wait until I get my hunters ed so I can go hunting.
I watched the monkeys for an afternoon. Annie and Dillon's kids Parker and Wyatt. I'm told that Wyatt, on the right, looks like Dean when he was little. so who knows maybe my boys, if i have any, will look similar to Wyatt. I would like that!

Dean makes fun of me but I love ducks!!! Really I love all animals but ducks are so cute and this pic reminds me of the disney show, Aristocats, when the geese say " Bottoms Up!"

Dean and I spending the first warm sunny day of spring at willow park. I just love spending time with my companion!!

Shalese after she was set a part to be a sister missionary! We are gonna miss her and her contagious laugh. I look sick in this picture cuz the night before I had a weird reaction to peanut butter and was spewing all night! My favorite food is now my enemy!!

My manly hunter:) Dean is an excellent shooter!
We had a little scare a couple of weeks ago. I went to a dermatologist to see these funny spots on my body and he didnt' know what they were he gave me two options of what they could be and one of them was cancer so he had 2 biopsies done and thankfully they came back negative but they did come back with something. syringomas:an accumulation of glands. it's very rare and it won't hurt me unless they go nuts like a weird mole or freckle does when it turns to cancer. This is doctor Dean taking out my stitches!

I think I'm really starting to like sewing. I made this all by myself at my mom's. It's a tablerunner.

This is Easter weekend with my family. Both my grandmas are holding the newest members of our family! Bodie is on the left with Gma Carpenter and who is 3 weeks older than Jacob on the right held by Gma Smith. so adorable!!

Dean and I played some fun games at my friend Tiffani's place. This is me trying to get a cookie from my forehead to my mouth without touching it or moving too much. I had to use all my face muscles. it was hilarious!!
