Crafts, goals, and American Red Cross....

Well I thought I would update a little bit. While going to school, like every college student knows, it is hard to have time to do things that I enjoy...such as crafts and having a clean place everyday and not just on saturdays. Well with the xray program I get all of July off and I am so excited here are a few things that I have planned:

-sewing:skirt,quilt,and a cover for my wonderful Bosch
-cook Dean nice meals
-get all of our extra things in containers with labels
-READ all the books I want
-crafts:magnet recipe holder
-possibly move to a house we are thinking of buying:)-I'll blog later about this....
I probably won't get all these things accomplished but I'm gonna try!
So with writing about crafts here is a few that I want to keep record of. I seriously have no idea how I found the time to do these things but I did
I got these leaves up Logan Canyon and I just love the simplicity of them and the contrast of the colors. I made two others that look a little different.

My sister in law, Annie, inspired me to do this..it is a cereal box with wrapping paper to hold our Ensigns.

I did this during Christmas break. Annie again inspired me to do this. I just love her taste. this was one of the most fun things i have made.

Dean and I went up to Mink Creek where we used to live and next to the house is where Dean's dad lived in an old cabin. They put new windows in and I found a cool looking window they were gonna throw away and turned it into something patriotic!

So the other day Dean signed us up during church to donate blood. I have never donated cuz either I didn't weigh enough or didn't have enough blood (this is true and I was glad to use these as an excuse but really I am just afraid of needles). So I told myself since I work in a hospital and I give IVs all the time so I figure it is my duty to donate blood cuz it really is an important thing to do. After finding out I wasn't anemic anymore I got the courage to do it cuz I couldn't use an excuse anymore. The needle gage is pretty big compared to the ones I use but I was brave and it didn't even hurt!!! Dean said he was so proud of me and he was in the seat next to me so after I got up he gave me a high five! ha ha...and being dumb like I am sometimes, I worked out the next morning and started getting dizzy and I felt the blood leave my head and I started to white out. So I took it easy the rest of the day. So this was the first (and not the last) time I donated blood!!
