well folks, I officially graduated from college and am a certified radiologic technologist (xray tech)!!!!!! Graduation was great! I was surrounded by my family that I love more than anything and we celebrated at chuck-a-rama afterwards. But of course I still felt like school wasn't completely over cuz I still needed to take my board exam...the biggest test of my life!! So I stressed for a week and a half and studied here and there. So I drove to Ogden to take my exam and after 3 hours of sitting in front of a computer and during those 3 hours the baby was movin so much! she must have known how stressed I was!!:) and all I needed was a 75 so as I was waiting for my score to come up I kept running through my head "76 76 76" and to my suprise the numbers 91 come up!! my mouth dropped open cuz I just couldn't believe it!!! but yes I did pass and that's what matters:)
It's hard to explain the feelings that come with being done with school and actually moving on with life. I feel so free, my mind and body feel less stress than it has in a long time, and I feel like a better wife and I am preparing a lot better for the little one about to enter our lives.
Most of my thanks has to go to my parents who put me through school and helped me so much financially and emotionally and Dean because without him working I probably couldn't have gotten through the program as well as I did.( wow that sounded like a graduation speech or something) anyway....life is going on here is what we are up to:
Dean is working more hours at IFA, he is getting ready to take a class this summer, he loves taking care of the yard at the apartment we live in, and he makes me laugh everyday!
Lacey is working on call for Alpine Orthopedics, cleaning, cooking, and reading.
CONGRATS to YOU!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your graduation, Lacey! What an accomplishment.
